1. Peel and cube:

2. Chop:
Onion
3. In a large pot on medium heat:
Add canola oilAdd chopped onion, stir and cook until onion begins to soften
Add ground beef, stir
Add salt and pepper
Cover, cook for 10 minutes
Add chopped carrots, stir, cover and cook for 5 minutes
Add choppedpotatoes, stir, cover and cook for 10 minutes
Add raisins, stir, cook uncovered until liquid evaporates
4. Prepare the side dishes:
RiceFried egg
5. Plate the dish:
Shape cooked rice in a small bown and turn over onto the middle of a plateTop the rice with a fried egg
Place arroz a la cubana around the rice
Serve with ketchup on the side
