*Dressing & Toasted Almonds can be made in advance:
Almonds- Melt 2tbsp butter + 2tsp sugar in skillet. Coat almonds with butter & sugar and let start to lightly brown.
Dressing- combine all ingredients for dressing (oil, vinegar, poppy seed, sugar, crazy salt, pepper). Place in sealed container to shake.
Chop lettuce, onions, cucumber & combine with Craisins & Tomatoes.
Wait to add Chow Mein Noodles & Dressing until just before serving.
This is soooo yummy- everyone will love it! This salad, once dressing and noodles have been added cannot be kept more than a few hours (noodles become soft).
