A low(er) fat crowd pleaser.
Cut each wing into two pieces and arrange on a foil lined baking sheet. Broil 10 minutes per side or until browned. Transfer to slow cooker.
Combine together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, sherry, ginger, garlic, and pepper flakes. Pour over wings in slow cooker and toss gently.
Cook on low (5 to 6 hours) or high (2 to 3 hours) or until cooked.through. Stir one 1/2 way through to coat wings with sauce.
Remove wings from slow cooker and place on serving plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion and enjoy.
