Suggest a better descriptionSlice bacon into 1/4 inch horizontal pieces while raw. Brown bacon over medium heat. Set aside on paper towel after desired doneness (about 10 minutes).
Need 2 T of grease for sautéing the asparagus. Cut asparagus into one inch pieces, discarding the 1st couple inches at the end of the stalks. Toss in the same pan with bacon grease or coconut oil and sauté for about 15 minutes until crisp, not mushy. Toss bacon back in and add lemon and salt and pepper and serve.
