Fill lg skillet 3/4 full of water and bring to boil and cook asparagus for 3 min, then immediately transfer to ice bath to stop cooking process. Drain and set aside.
Drain water from skillet. Heat olive oil- med heat. When oil shimmering, add asparagus, garlic, red pepper, lemon zest, salkt and pepper.
Cook, tossing occasionally, till; tender and lightly golden on edges, about 4-5 min. Squeeze the fresh lemon over it and serve immediately.
