Best way to get kids to like asparagus
Bring pot of water to boil and add the oil and salt. Add asparagus and cook/blanch for two minutes. Immediately rinse in cold water to stop the cooking and drain
Place in baking dish and put cheese on top. (Sometimes I substitute mozarella depending what's on hand and that works great too) Put melted butter and lemon juice on top and then grind fresh pepper on top of that.
Bake at 350 for 5-7 minutes until cheese is melted.
