Suggest a better descriptionCut off 2" or so of white ends. Mince garlic.
Blanch asparagus for 2-3 min and put in ice water.
Using a teflon frying pan (if possible) heat olive oil over med high heat. Add asparagus. Add balsamic vinegar, garlic, and butter. Sprinkle w/salt and pepper.
Sautee 3-4 minutes. Don't cover or it'll get soggy.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
