Measure both oats and wheat germ into 9"x13" baking pan. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Measure oil and honey into 2-cup measure and microwave for 1-2 minutes. Pour over grains and stir thoroughly--this may take longer than you'd expect. Bake 40-60 minutes, until golden brown, taking out of oven to stir every 20 minutes. Before last period of baking, add nuts so they can roast. Meantime in a larger roaster pan, measure into it the sunflower seeds. Shake and pick out any darkened (likely rancid) seeds and discard. Then measure the Craisins and raisins into one end of the roaster pan-- this will keep them out of the heat when the grain mixture is dumped in. When the oat mixture is done, add it to the roaster pan to cool. When cool, mix all together and store in jars. It lasts more than a month in freshness for me.
Two pans are necessary, or it will stick to the first pan, preventing you from being able to get it out!
