Mix milk and eggs with fork in a large bowl (if you have an immersion hand blender you'll get better consistency).
Add in the vanilla, salt, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
Break apart the bread into about 1/2" pieces.
Add bread and raisins into liquid mixture, stir and let sit for 5 minutes.
Pour into a loaf pan and bake in large pan of water at 350 degrees for 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
