Suggest a better description1. Prepare your bacon & crumble or cut it up.
2. Sauté hamburger & add onion in a large pot until browned. Drain and set aside.
3. Sauté carrots, parsley & basil in 4 Tbs of butter in same pot until carrots are tender.
4. Add chicken stock & bring to a boil.
5. Add potatoes and cook till tender.
Next, make the rue
6. In a small pot or skillet, melt remaining butter, whisk in flour & cook until combined.
7. Stir in milk & cook, continuously whisking, until mixture thickens & becomes smooth.
8. Add the rue to the broth, bring to a boil again & then reduce heat.
9. Add burger & then cheese & bacon. When cheese is melted, it's ready to serve.
