Suggest a better descriptionPlace garlic and potatoes in a pot, cover with salted water. Bring to a boil, cook until soft. Drain, return garlic and potatoes to pot. Mash potatoes. Stir in 3/4 cup milk and butter, season. Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp. Drain. Chop into pieces. Sprinkle over potatoes.
