A filling pizza that's perfect for 2
Heat the rapeseed oil in a frying pan.
With a scissors, cut the bacon into pieces and add to the heated oil.
Chop the peppers into slices making sure all the little white seeds are removed.
Chop the red Onion into slices, add to the bowl with the peppers.
Slice the ball of mozzarella which will make it easier to break up and sprinkle on.
When the dough is ready (see my other recipe) spread the tomato puree on with the back of a spoon.
Sprinkle the sliced peppers, onion and bacon on as you please.
Add some of the sliced mozzarella and finish by covering in as much grated mozzarella as you please.
The oven should be heated to 180 Celsius (350 Fahrenheit) degrees (you will find this in my dough recipe)
Place pizza in oven until the mozzarella starts to go golden brown approx 10/15 minutes
I have added the Herb Dough recipe to BigOven.
Any toppings can go on this.. if using bacon, diced chicken etc.. my advice is to make sure it is just about cooked before placing on the pizza. The few minutes it takes to melt the mozzarella should suffice in finishing cooking the meat but also heating the veg and making them nice and al dente!
