Suggest a better descriptionPut beans in large bowl, rinse and cover with water (at least 1 inch above), make sure water stays over top. Soak for 8 1/2 hours, wash off and clean [1p.m.-9:30p.m.]
Put beans in large pot and cover with fresh water baking soda. Boil for 45 minutes at a medium boil. [9:30p.m.-10:15p.m.]
Remove from stove, wash off, and put in baking Bowl. Add sugar and salt, sprinkle with pepper. Pour water 2 cups over top to melt sugar. Stir in mustard and onions. Cover with foil and bake for 9 hours at 250°. [10:15p.m.-7:15a.m.]
Remove and make sure liquid is on them. Mix. Place bacon on top. Cook for 1 hour uncovered at 350°. [7:15a.m.-8:15a.m.]
