Cheesy hashbrowns that are quick and simple. A low cost alternative that is extremely easy to make and tastes delicious!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Put cream cheese in the microwave at 30 second intervals until soft. Then pour soup into the cassorole dish and add milk until blended.
Stir in the cream cheese next.
Add spices if desired and mix in with the rest of the mixture.
Stir in frozen hash brown peices until all of them are covered with the other ingredients in the casserole dish.
Stir in shredded cheese saving a little to spinkle on top.
Flatten them down so that they are all flat in the dish.
Top with remaining cheese
Stir halfway through cooking time
Bake in oven for 1 hour.

There are a lot of variations that you can do with this recipe: add 1 cup chopped onions, add corn or peas depending on what you are making. Kids love it!
