Boil celery until tender. Drain. Melt butter. Stir in flour. Slowly mix in milk and stir until thick and smooth. Add salt and celery.
Turn into a greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Top with crumbs. Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 400F 15 min.
