Heat oven to 400.
Heat butter over low heat and cook green onion gently until tender. Add herbs and scrape into small custard cup, coating bottom well. Break egg into center of cup and pour enough cream to just cover the white. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake until whites are set, 10 - 13 minutes. (9 minutes in steam oven)
