Preheat oven to 350. Stir butter, brown sugar and syrup in saucepan over medium heat until melted and smooth. Transfer to 9x13 baking dish and sprinkle pecans over butter mixture. Whisk half and half, eggs cinnamon, and vanilla in mixing bowl to blend. Dip bread slices into egg mixture and add to baking dish in single layer. Pour remaining egg mixture evenly over bread slices. Cover tightly with plastic or foil and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, uncover and bake 40 minutes. Serve pecan side facing up.
