Suggest a better descriptionIn a medium saucepan combine salt, cornstarch, dry mustard, cayenne pepper and black pepper; stir in the milk and half-and-half cream. Add the butter, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat. Stir in the cheese (1 1/2 cup) until melted. Boil the macaroni as per directions on the box and drain. Add the macaroni. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese (1/2 cup) buttered bread crumbs and paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until lightly browned.
