Macaroni & Cheese
Cook pasta as directed. Preheat oven to 400. Grease 11\2 quart casserole.
Mince onion, about 4 teaspoons, put into a double boiler with 2 tablespoons butter. When butter is melted stir in flour, mustard, salt & pepper. Slowly stir in milk, cook until smooth and got, stirring often.
Slice about 3\4 of cheese right into the sauce, stir until the cheese is melted.
When the pasta is tender drain into colander, turn into casserole. Pour cheese sauce over pasta. Tossing lightly with fork so that all pasta gets nicely coated. Top with the res of the cheese.
Toss bread crumbs with 4 teaspoons melted butter, stir over cheese.
Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
4 servings a main Dish
6 servings as a side dish.
