Warm Cornbread is very good with this chowder on a cold night
In a large stockpot, saute sausage 5 minutes. Add onion and saute another 15 minutes. Stir in garlic. Add the canned vegetables and all the spices. Add the potatoes and water. Simmer over low heat, stirring frequently til potatoes are tender.
