Bring milk to a simmer in a saucepan over medium high heat. Stir in the oats and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook, stirring for 5 minutes or until porridge thickens.
Remove from heat, stand for 5 minutes. Stir in the sugar. Top with banana and cinnamon.
