Position oven rack on lowest rung. Heat to 350 deg.
Grease 9x5 loaf pan.
Combine sugar and butter. Stir in eggs. Mix well. Add bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in flower, baking soda, and salt. Fold in blueberries.
Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 mins.
