Preheat oven to 350?.
Combine 1 cup of the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add mashed banana, butter, and milk. Beat until blended. Add eggs and remaining flour, beat until blended. Stir in nuts/chocolate chips.
Pour batter into greased 8x4x2in loaf pan. Bake at 350? for 55-60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
