Was told by a friend that this is the be-all-end-all of banana breads
Preheat oven to 350. Butter a large loaf pan. With an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, beating well. Sift the dry ingredients together and combine with the butter mixture. Blend well. Add bananas, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour, put on rack to cool.
