Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Add mashed bananas, eggs and vanilla beating well. Combine flour and soda add to banana mixture, beating until just combined. Stir in pecans. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8 in load pans. Bake @ 350? for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve w/ lemon curd.
