Beat butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and bananas. Beat well.
Sift together dry ingredients into wet ingredients along with milk and vanilla. Beat well.
Then fold in nuts.
Line a 9x5x3" loaf pan with wax paper on the bottom and grease pan.
Bake at 325 for one hour to one hour and 10 minutes.
