Suggest a better descriptionPrepare 8x8 or 9x9 dish with a layeer of nilla wafers topped with layer of banana slices. Reapeat as many tmes as desired and make layers of banana as thick as desired. Melt butter over low to medium heat and then add flour, sugar, salt,and milk. Whisk until smooth.
Continually stir, careful to scrape sides and, edge, and bottom of pot. Stir until begins to thicken, careful not to boil too quickly.
Once begins to thicken, add vanilla and stir until combined. Then pour over pan prepared with vanilla wafers and banana slices. Allow to cool.
Can refrigerate leftovers for a couple of days.
