This is great in summertime. We call it "Fat Butt Pie" because of all the calories.
1 stick melted margarine
2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
Mix together and press into 13 x 9 Pan
Beat the following together for 10 minutes with electric mixer and spread over wafer crust:
1 stick softened margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
Cover the creamy mixture in the following order with:
3-4 bananas - sliced 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick - like you would to put on cereal
1 can crushed pineapple (drained well) save juice
Mix 1 (3 oz.) box of jello and 1 cup boiling water until all jello has dissolved. Combine pineapple and strawberry juice to make one cup. Add to jello. Add drained strawberries. When mixture has begun to thicken, spread over bananas and pineapple. Refrigerate. Before Serving spread Cool Whip over the Jello or serve with a dollop of Cool Whip on a serving.
