This easy, fix early and forget until just before you serve, beef sandwich recipe is a family favorite for the big game... whoever is playing. Can be baked early and warmed in the crock pot for when you return home if you are going to the game instead of watching it on TV.
Oven temperature to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in oven safe pan. Added chopped onion, pepper and celery and saute. Add remain ingredients except Chuck Roast and reduce down by bring to a soft boil for 15 minutes. Add Chuck Roast and place in the oven with the lid on for 6 to 10 hours depending on size of Roast. About one hour before serving, break meat apart with two forks and place back in oven lid off to reduce down. Serve on your favorite sandwich bun with chips and salads for that great game.
Can be done the day before and heated in the crock pot for buffet. Enjoy
