From Maria many years ago
1. preheat oven to 350 or 375
2. Heat oil and brown nuts. Remove with slotted spoon and reserve.
3. Sauge onions and barley til lightly toasted. Remove from heat.
4. Stir in nuts, parsley, salt and pepper.
5. Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole.
6. Heat broth to a boil and pour over barley mix. Stir til blended.
7. Bake uncovered for 70 minutes (1 hour 10 minutes)
good with lamb dishes
