Melt butter in saut? pan. Saut? garlic and onion until soft. Remove from
heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over meat or poultry and
marinade in a refrigerator uncovered over night, turning often.
Remove the meat or poultry from the marinade, reserving the remaining marinade.
Smoke in smoker at 225 degrees using 1 cup of Hickory or Mesquite chips. Occassionally brush the meat or poultry with the remaining marinade
The meat or Poultry should reach an internal temperature of 150 degrees. Remove from smoker and finish off on grill or in oven using slow heat to desired internal temperature.
