Heat oil in a 4 cup saucepan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and sauté 2-3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, breaking up the tomatoes with your hands. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or longer. Use with your favorite pasta recipe.
