Suggest a better descriptionStir together: 2 cups flour (wheat germ, bran flakes, dry milk), sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add margarine/butter and hot water. Beat with hand mixer at medium speed for two minutes.
Add 1 cup flour and beat at high speed for 1 minute.
Stir in enough flour to make into a soft dough.
Knead for 5-10 minutes on a floured surface.
Cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rest for 20 minutes. Divide dough in half.
Roll thoroughly with rolling pin, then roll up and shape into a loaves.
Put in greased pan, grease top of loaf, and cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate at 38-41 degrees between for a minimum of 2 hours, maximum of 24.
Remove from refrigerator, uncover, and let stand for 10 minutes, while oven preheats to 400.
Just before baking, prick any bubbles in dough with a toothpick.
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool on baking rack.
