Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add milk and water slowly and beat until batter is smooth.
Dip fish or chicken into batter, let excess drip off.
Deep fry until golden brown.
You can add freshly cracked black pepper or lemon pepper to the dry ingredients for an extra kick. I serve the fish with tartare sauce and chicken with sweet chilli sauce with oven baked wedges.
