Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla. Blend in flour. Put 1 1/2: high in 9" sprinform pan. Bake at 450? for 10 minutes. Mix cream cheese and sugar, add egg and vanilla. Layer on top of first mixture. Combine sugar and cinnamon, add apples and layer on top of second mixture. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 400? for 25 minutes. When done, loosen rim and cool in pan.
