Mix meat with eggs, green peppers, onion, bread crumbs as in meat loaf.
Sauce:
Melt Crisco in pan. Chop onion in Crisco. Add tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar and salt and pepper.
Hamburgers do not have to be cooked, just place in sauce and simmer until done.
