Filipino BBQ pork (or chicken) on a stick
If using wooden skewers, soak in water before using them in order to prevent them from burning. Cut meat and put in a container in the fridge to marinate for at least two hours (overnight is best). Put about 3 pieces of meat per stick (put the stick through the meat and try to not expose the stick other than the handle). After you finish preparing all the meat, boil the marinade for a few minutes to kill any bacteria from the raw meat. Use it to brush on the meat while cooking. Cook meat about 5 minutes on each side and keep brushing it with the marinade (make sure your fire is not too high or they will burn).
