Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute the onion and red pepper in butter and oil until tender. Add the garlic and saute 1 minute longer. Stir in the tomatoes, pork, broth, pepper, cumin and salt; heat through.
Drain the pasta. Add the cheese and pasta to the pork mixture. Sprinkle with green onions before serving.
