KC-style with apple butter & smoked onions.
Add half of the onion to the smoker; smoke for ~1 hr. Melt the butter and saute half of the onion then the garlic towards the end. Dissolve ginger in a few tsp of water. Add all ingredients, simmer for at least 10 minutes. Don't forget the smoked onion!
