Suggest a better descriptionWash beans and place pin heavy pot with 2-3 quarts of water. Add bacon,onion, salt and pepper, seasoning mix, and other seasonings and bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for about an hour, until beans start to soften, but aren't completely done. Brown ground meat in skillet and season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat and stir meat into beans. Season to taste. Continue to cook on low heat until beans are completely done. Serve with rice.
