-cut beef into chunks
-coat beef with 1/2 T cornstarch
-cook beef in saucepan with oil and transfer to bowl
-add 1/2 c beef broth to pan, add broccoli and cook covered 8-10 mins
-add ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes
-stir in soy sauce, remaining 1/2 cup beef broth and 1/2 T cornstarch
-add beef back and serve
