Suggest a better descriptionSpray nonstick skillet with Pam. Coat beef with pan searing flour. Heat skillet to medium heat and brown beef on all sides, one pound at a time. Place in bottom of crockpot.
Pour cream of mushroom soup on top of beef, then add cooking wine. Sprinkle dried onion soup mix on top - do not stir the ingredients together.
Cook at low temperature at least 4 hours.
Serve over egg noodles or rice.
Saute mushrooms for a side dish and serve sauce over the top.
Cabernet Sauvignon was very good in this recipe.
