Cook onions in bacon drippings until brown. Remove onions; set aside. Add more drippings if necessary, add beef and brown on all sides. Sprinkle beef with flour and seasonings, stir in bouillon and wine, cover and simmer over very low heat for 2-2? hours or until meat is tender. Add onions and mushrooms; cook 30 minutes longer.
Serve over hot cooked rice
