1 Combine the beef, onion, and seasoning in a skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring often, until the beef is browned and crumbled into small pieces. Drain the grease from the skillet.
2 While the beef mixture is cooking, cook the barley according to the package directions.
3 Stir the beef mixture into the barley. Add the cheese, mix well, and serve immediately.
