Adjust amounts of carrots and/or potatoes to your liking
1. Place first five ingredients into a large oven proof dish.
2. Cut up tomatoes (reserve the juice) and add to the dish.
3. Mix, add salt, pepper, tapioca and sugar into the reserved tomato juice and mix well.
4. Pour tomato juice mixture over all and mix well.
5. Cover and bake at 250 for 5 hours. DO NOT PEEK!! Stew will make it's own gravy.
Stew is delicious with homebaked bread.
