Suggest a better descriptionHeat oil in fry pan and brown cubed beef. Put beef in Dutch oven along with bay leaves and add water to cover meat. Simmer until tender. Add all vegetables, beef base, container of beef drippings and Worcestershire sauce and cook until vegetables are tender. Thicken slightly with flour and water.
