Cut the beef into bite sized pieces and coat it thoroughly with flour. Coat the bottom of a skillet with canola oil and cook the beef. Set aside in cake pan.
Sauté onions. Add to beef.
For the gravy:
Start with 3 tbsp canola oil in a pan. Add flour to make a paste. Brown. Add water. Mix and simmer. Add beef bouillon cube. Melt. Add more water if needed. Once gravy is done, add mushrooms. Simmer for a minute while stirring.
Add gravy to beef and onions. Mix thoroughly.
Cook noodles. Drain nearly all the water. Add to cake pan with beef mixture. Mix.
Bake in oven at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes.
You may substitute chicken instead of beef. Just remember to change it to a chicken bouillon cube!
