brown meat in a large non-stick skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add vegetables; cook 5 min, stirring occasionally.
Stir in water. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer 10 min or until vegetables are tender.
Add beans and bbq sauce; stir. Cook 5 min or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese.
May be made ahead of time, frozen flat in ziplock baggies and reheated when ready for the meal.
