Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Salt and pepper ribs and brown them in oil in a Dutch Oven.
About 8 minutes.
Remove from pan and leave 1 tablespoon oil in pan. Sauté onions, celery, and carrots in hot
oil 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and tomato paste and sauté 2 minutes. Add beer, Worchestershire
Sauce, 1-1/2 cups beef broth to pan and stir, scraping up bits from bottom of pan. Stir in remaining
1/2 teaspoon each of salt & pepper.
Return ribs to pan, mix into sauce, cover and bake 3 to 3-1/2 hours or until ribs are very tender.
Remove ribs from pan and skim fat from drippings. Stir flour into remaining 1/2 cup beef broth and whisk
into drippings. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute or until thickened. Serve on buttered noodles
And sprinkle with chopped parsley.
