Mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add beer and egg and stir well. May have to knead the last of flour in with hands. Place in greased 9x5 inch loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees until done-about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool.
